anyway wow! alpha week doing the lord's work! on cloud's part, it's half-alpha week and half-aerith's own impatience and selfishness that's driving here, so when she feels cloud actually respond...honestly, what else is she supposed to do here? she was kind of thinking he might shy away because she's fairly certain this man's never kissed anybody in his life, but once again he manages to surprise her. he kisses her back and she's leaning against him, the hands on the back of his neck applying a little more pressure and sliding up into the ends of his hair just to stay close together. she's not rushing this, letting him set the pace and figure out what he wants to do, but she meets each of his movements with a little enthusiasm and a little guidance.
maybe this won't be real later, but it's real now, so...shouldn't they both enjoy what feels right? everything else can wait, and her knees are kind of bracketing his hips while she coaxes him along into a little deeper of a kiss, thinking nothing of it other than "finally, geez."]
