Don't know if it's part of the ritual or still just the magic reacting to it. [ MAGIC BULLSHIT ] They said it'd be bloody back on Saturday, so they must've expected something.

Could be. It also seemed like they weren't sure what the ritual would really bring if what Lucas said was true. [so it was probably a surprise to all of them...] Something else to be prepared for, I suppose.

she'll also help herself to a piece. this is non-cursed candy they're already a problem as it is. and she doesn't say why she's doing this, but maybe it's a distraction from the very bleak conversation they were just having.]

[i really do think often of how she's the top in this relationship. also stop don't feed him bad candy i hate you. she just smiles a little to that.]

...there isn't much else we can do today but try to regroup and prepare for whatever happens tomorrow. May as well find a little enjoyment somewhere. [which is her way of saying everything is bad and she feels bad about it, but she doesn't want to linger too much because she knows they need to be ready to keep moving.]
