Sometimes he acts in ways that I don't know if he's fully conscious of. I think it has something to do with Sephiroth, but...I don't know what to do about it yet.
I think Yuffie tried to talk to him about what happened once and he couldn't register it. But now that all of this has happened...it might be easier for him to hear it.
Anyway uh. Daan frowns kind of considerably at this. Aerith gets vague memory flashes of a creepy rubber mask of a cat, eyes bright and yellow, smile way too wide. ]

I want to try until I run out of options. And then when I do, I want to find a different way to try. But...I do get it. Some things are just meant to be a certain way. I just don't want them to be that way because of a lack of effort and understanding.
A lot of people in the modern age aren't like you. Too concerned with themselves... not that I blame them much with the War and all, but it sounds like that doesn't stop you anyway.
I spent a lot of my life dealing with people who were more concerned with themselves, or what I could do for them, or hating me for being what I was. And even with all of that, I knew that wasn't how I wanted things to be. So now...it's just what I want to do for everyone.
