I want to try until I run out of options. And then when I do, I want to find a different way to try. But...I do get it. Some things are just meant to be a certain way. I just don't want them to be that way because of a lack of effort and understanding.
A lot of people in the modern age aren't like you. Too concerned with themselves... not that I blame them much with the War and all, but it sounds like that doesn't stop you anyway.
I spent a lot of my life dealing with people who were more concerned with themselves, or what I could do for them, or hating me for being what I was. And even with all of that, I knew that wasn't how I wanted things to be. So now...it's just what I want to do for everyone.
