Better than no plan at all. [...] There are some of us here who seemed to think this was going to happen even before the masked people arrived. I'm a little worried they'll take that as a sign to do something without thinking just to survive.

And if people are still panicking tomorrow? [it's more of a thoughtful question than really thinking it'll be a thing, if only because she's already decided she respects him and is curious how he thinks.]

...Lavi did say that in times of dire situations and no direction, the foremost thing needed is a leader...

Do you agree with the thought? Though I guess it begs the question of who it'd be.

[that's a good question actually. it doesn't entirely surprise her that lavi would say something that, given what she knows about him, but she does have to kind of take a moment to think about it.

it's not that cloud is their leader, although they do tend to follow his lead and listen to him (for better or worse.) their group functions in a way where every member has a role and has their own important goals. they help each other and work as a group. but with so many different personalities and all of them basically strangers she could see a united front being something they need.]

Depends on what that leader's personal goals are. You can be a good leader but still not have the best interests of everyone in mind. [you can be a hero and then go batshit and try to ruin everything.] But I don't think having a few people to help people and be people to try and organize things for us is such a bad idea. Not everyone wants that responsibility, but with these new stakes even one wrong move could lead to a big consequence.

True. What you need isn't really a leader. It's just the idea of one.

[ They don't need to be perfect. They don't need to be an unassailable leader. A real leader could even be a cause for schism if someone doesn't agree with the rest.

Just need a reason and a way to unite. ]

Keep networking... and stay in contact then.

At least that won't be too hard to do here.

Sure. Walk for about five minutes and you're bound to run into at least five people. [haha.] We'll stay connected, and...I'll keep doing what I can. Some people are a little harder to get through to than others, but there's always tomorrow.
