[can we all just agree leeches are bad? leeches are bad! and because everyone seems to have been dealing with these bloodsuckers just to retrieve their things (okay, everyone except aerith maybe because thank you cloud) it means aerith has decided it's probably a good idea to head off through town again to check in on some of the people she met yesterday. she's changed back into her original outfit, hair tied back into its braid with her pink ribbon, and she's mostly keeping to herself as she observes the area around her.

Pretty much. I had a terrible first few baby steps yesterday, including finding out there are leeches in the river the hard way. And with our personal goods arriving via infested swamp, I imagine our microaggression torments will continue.

Some people would prefer to be that way to avoid what they think is inevitable.
