[NOOOOO AHHHH. obviously she's immediately trying to hug her back, but unfortunately she is transparent...she phases through her, and laudna is treated with a very cold sensation and the most disappointed look on aerith's face. ugh...ughhhhh.]

I was really hoping that the longer we were over here the more solid we'd get. Looks like this is gonna have to do. [but the gloom is momentary and it's back to the very obvious happiness.] Letters have been nice, but it's never the same.

I should be saying thanks for writing me back. It's something to look forward to now that we know you guys are getting them. Besides, there are some things you can really only say in letters at the time rather than waiting for moments like this.

[i.e. trying to share information or show support when things are getting bad.]

Then again? Being here right now does feel like a positive sign. Like maybe this won't be the last of it.

Believe me, the feeling's mutual. It's been...well. It's harder on you, I think, and I'm sorry for that. There's so much I wish I could do to make things even a little easier in this situation.

I'm sure you'd do the same if the situations were reversed, right? Seems like the kind of thing that'd happen. [does she mean writing letters, or the contents? hard to say but she doesn't quite clarify either.]

Last weekend was difficult. I think all of us are on our last legs, but...

That's true. I have noticed that. But I can still worry about all of you burning out before we can reach the end. Even if it's not by choice.

Are you worried about him? I know the last few weeks have been hard on him and Lavi both for different reasons.
