I'm trying. [she says that much, and it's maybe the only admission that she has a harder time, sometimes, voicing her fears to him. but she wants to, and hearing that thought gets a smile from her.] It helps that you're good at listening.

[not always great at actually talking or offering solutions, but there have been a lot of times in recent history cloud has just listened to aerith talk about less than fun things and has quietly supported her. it's more than she's had before and it's something that keeps her happy.]

You're not hard to listen to. [ there's people or times where he admittedly gets overwhelmed with too much talking (chadley), but listening to aerith has never felt like that, even when she was being a bit of a whirlwind. and this is also his way of being a little apologetic that he knows he's not... great... at the talking part. ]
