[yeah here's the thing, that nat (2)0 rizz is coming in clutch because watching the baby hop and cloud actually talk to it does make her smile and visibly brighten a little. things are awful, sure, but they have each other. she has cloud. cloud will be there for her, and he's healing and won't leave just yet.

That's a little different. It was following along in a group, and it didn't even last that long before Dio showed up and challenged you to a duel, if you'll recall. But when you put it that way maybe the two aren't so different? Just holding your sword differently.
