Oh. I tried capitalizing certain letters to hint at Kate and Ashlyn's initials. It didn't stand out enough to make it make sense.

... They know from Kate that restraining her isn't an option. They'll have to think of something out if they want to be sure they've stopped her from all this.

You know, I've been pretty lucky in the way of curses. Most things people have done to me are pretty minor. [she seems contemplative about that.] Maybe I'm just not curseable? Not that I mind.

[she's mostly walking up to the platform to go and admire the fake horses. study them. understand them.]

Yeah...I wrote Ashlyn a letter basically saying I hope she's able to make a choice and they're able to help her. And I know she's not ready to die, but maybe she'll think it over more and realize it's more of a relief than anything.

It would. I told her I missed the old her and it'd be great to see her again. So...one can only hope. [we are not going to ride the carousel just yet, she really is walking in the circle to look at the horses.]

...I always got the impression even when we were still on that side that Ashlyn never wanted to die. I don't know how much she told you about her phantom dimension she goes to every night, but she's seen a lot of things she shouldn't. I can't say I blame her for wanting to live, but I don't think she wants to be a monster anymore either.

I think when it comes down to it, most people wouldn't choose to die, no matter what.

[ he is watching her go around the carousel and letting her explore. ]

But in this case, she's a liability so long as that thing is active.

And yet here we are, asking at least ten of them to die. [weird! funny how she has feelings on that.] ...Kanda and I talked about this. We just have to convince them that it's for the best and that it's temporary. But it's still a very big ask.

She's...even if she's partnered with Mathis, her monster's still the same isn't it? I don't know if those change.

No one's said anything about their monsters changing, so probably. The monster's inside of them, so...

[she hops up onto a horse, sidesaddle, and she's holding his hand to draw him a little closer to her.]

We know what that might look like if they're not careful. [manticore...] It's Monday, so they have a few days to decide, but I really hope it doesn't come down to what happened with Kate.

[...then again, ashlyn could just kill like nine other people. that would be one way to solve it, but she'd never wish that on anybody much less a teenage girl.]

[ she talked about them sharing one chocobo and cloud was just IT WOULD SLOW THE BIRD DOWN ]

Nothing ever is. [anyway it wasn't about that, she just wanted to be close to him, but now that he's mentioned it she does smile.]

Pretty sure the horses aren't gonna go any faster if it's just me by myself. [also pretty sure cloud's not a moron several weeks into them dating and will understand why sharing is cute.]

Mm... I don't know. Maybe it'll affect the speed of the ride.

[ he is not a moron he's climbing on the horse with her. it's funny because he's behind ]

Very funny. [up he goes! he's in the back and this is absolutely not the way they should be sitting, but she's fine with it? he's just going to be forced to hold her waist and she'll hold the pole.]

Guess we'll just have to find out, huh? [they are both here, but it means the ride is now moving? the ride is moving. there's the cheery and maybe kind of creepy music that comes with a carousel? weird.]

You're asking me? [she has never been on a carousel either, cloud. it is so slow, but she's using it as a convenient excuse to cuddle.] It feels weird, right?

Maybe it's part of the aesthetic. Like that hotel at the Gold Saucer we stayed at? [creepy-cute.] I wonder why we got a second amusement park anyway.

Maybe because this one's part of the town? The other one we can only access through the tree.

Could be. I do like the one through the tree...Lucas and I went on the roller coaster like four times in a row.

It was weird, wasn't it? It was nice to have a place to stay, but it was a little much.

[ teasing like his ass also would not enjoy a roller coaster. he makes a disgruntled face ]

Half the stuff in that room was trapped. [ not to mention his jumpscare humidifier.... ]

You should try it later, it's pretty fun. Might be more your speed, too. [it goes so fast...]

Our room wasn't that bad. But we didn't spend too much time in it either, I guess. There was too much to see at the park.
