okay no, this time he is safe...even if she's a little surprised because she did not really expect him to pick up the hint. she's not even entirely sure if it's a hint she was purposefully dropping, but his arm is around her and she settles in to return the hug even if it's a little tighter than his. all of this is still awful, actually, despite how levelheaded she's trying to be about it. cloud has to live with this choice now of aerith not letting go for a little bit.]
