When Karlach told me the three of you ended up there it was, um, very alarming to say the least. I can't imagine sleeping in a coffin was all that comfortable.

Oh someone or something probably thought it was funny. We've slept in worst conditions, but I didn't sleep in the coffin regardless.

Worst doesn't always necessarily make bad conditions much better, you know.

A fair point. [to the apartments! she's leading them into the lobby first.] Any little bit of relief we can get here can feel huge, I think. Given how much has been taken from us since the beginning.

Yes, I imagine a literal bed is quite pleasant after barely having one for the gods only know how long.

Once you've got a key from the front desk, your room should have everything you need. Beds included. I won't deny that having a real bed and real showers and real food has helped a lot over the last several weeks.

The showers and real food sound especially good. Along with the bed, yes. I wonder why there's so much more over here -- a lack of cult meddling, perhaps?

Could be. When I first asked Pestilence about the village over there, she said it wasn't necessarily always like that. The fog just created it to be that way. So maybe this dimension was designed similarly. A response to the people here, and the things we want, and away from the oppressive nature of the cult itself.

Could also be as simple as making up to us for how we got here to begin with.

Well they are a cult attempting to summon a god for their own betterment.
