Mmh. Well. I wouldn't consider the two things exactly comparable.

Hopefully, this one will prove to be more successful...

I'll give you that much then. Without needing to give you my entire life story, which is pretty droll anyway.

...

I wouldn't know. I didn't stick around long enough in Prehevil to find out. But it probably is a good sign, yeah.

No really, he's coming by. Did she go to the springs or? Either way he's here.
]

Aerith? Are you doing alright...?

[ This is so cute waugh. Congrats on your weird goth era, Aerith. He's peering and stepping inside carefully. ]

That's usually the reaction people have. Typically in more colourful words, but you've always been polite.

Keeps me busy and working my hands, though with the amount of you, I've started kind of hoping for a shortcut.

[ Magic... welp he has no access. ]

No, they generally don't.

[ He can agree that nobody deserves to die, especially people here. Everyone has been so pleasant and kind... ]

I think it's always worth a shot, rather than just giving up and not trying at all, but it does seem like this place has a fondness for twisting things some kind of way. Maybe something for mental comfort? Is there anything I can get you?

Maybe I do.

[ Care, he means. Because yeah again, his life is kind of a lot. ]

You've been here longer than me. How do you feel about our prospects?

Alright, that's fine. I can do that.

[ He'll pull a chair over and sit. ]

I'm afraid I don't make a habit of carrying books around on me. I've got a puzzle cube? If that'll serve as a decent distraction.

"You think". I can't disagree, it's definitely not what I would've expected.

Signs are maybe pointing to good things, then?

Yep.

[ Produces and hands her a certain all-beige Rubik's Cube. To be clear there are different shades of beige, but it IS all beige. ]

I still have a little bit of apprehension about "getting closer to them", but that might just be me. Everything that happens here comes with a bit of doubt.

That being said, I'm not trying to be a nihilist. You do make good points and I'm not doubting you.

I sort of heard about it through the clamouring and all.

Don't suppose I have anything better to do on a Saturday, do I?

[ He got so used to it being... trials... even though I, Lowe, will be asleep. ]

Doing better?

That sounds about right, yeah. Haven't heard a single damn good thing about those things. In fact, I don't think there's ever been a single venture with a good review.

Suffering does seem to be the goal here... although what for, I don't know.

[ And then dryly: ]

Entertainment?
