Ah. [yeah, judging by her expression she can kind of guess.] People are very opinionated over there sometimes. You'll have to forgive them.

[cumulative]

Do they need to make it sound so threatening...? I- I don't even know why they would feel so strongly about it now.

[residentflorist]

[she shrugs a little. and she's about to say something but then she simply blips out of existence.




she comes back a few moments later though.]

Huh. [huh!] ...in any case, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

R-right... um, I won't take it to heart, then. It sounded like... several of you felt differently, anyway.

[residentflorist]

[there's a little frown.]

Sorry, Mathis. I don't think there's much I can tell you about that right now.

It's all right. I, um, I heard how some of you felt through the letters the other day.

[residentflorist]

With letters being the only way we can really communicate right now, a lot of us are trying to figure out what to say and hoping it comes across the way we want it to. It doesn't help that we never really know when they might show up or go out. We just have to hope it's soon enough.

[cumulative]

If it helps, I received the letter that you wrote me after... all of you were in Arpéchéle this Monday.

[residentflorist]

Oh, that was fast. [she does not confirm when it was sent, but she does frown a little.]

...I'm sorry, Mathis. I'm sure Anisphia and Yuffie told you a little about what happened already, didn't they?

[cumulative]

Anisphia told me... a little, but I still don't really... speak to Yuffie.

[sorry aerith he's sorry. he looks guilty, saying it.]

I'm so sorry that any of you had to...

[she's kind of like...vaguely unsure how to feel about that because on the one hand she sort of understands, but on the other there are so few of you left. but that's a whole other issue.]

...we got out of there. And all of us were okay in the end once we got back to where we needed to be. That's the most important part, right?

[cumulative]

M-mostly, yes, but how it affects you is still... it's still important, too.

[residentflorist]

[that's not wrong, she supposes.]

...it wasn't easy after we left. For any of us. I think we were all very confused and lost and unsure of who we were and what we were meant to do when we got back. But that only lasted for a few days. It's hard to imagine what it's like to have to experience that for so long.

[cumulative]

[aaaa the guilty look is back in full force, as she explains.]

...i-it's all right. I wouldn't know, either-- I only learned what I was just before I was brought here.

[residentflorist]

I remember. [she'd been thinking about that for a bit, too.] That memory of yours that I saw the week before I left. I remembered you'd only recently learned and you weren't sure what was next. That's what makes it so awful that this happened. Like...an invasion of your privacy. That wasn't fair either.
