I don't know if I've really thought about it. What you described doesn't sound bad, but...I don't know if that's something I could wear too often. Wider skirts are a little harder to move in, and fine fabrics could rip when we're fighting. Guess being practical wins sometimes.

When I fight, I typically shift into a monstrous form, so my clothes are less likely to take damage!

It's simple magic. I can change my body so I become something even more terrifying! It makes it much more difficult to attack me, as most are too frightened to come near.
