They only get a wish if they match with their original partner, right? Not a secondary? Even if they don't have any, it's something we can consider. Probably on the bottom of the list, but still worth a thought.

I think it's when they match for the first time, yes. We're likely all more concerned with going home or going somewhere else than coming here.

I don't think there's any question about leaving.

No, I don't think so either. Pretty much everyone I've talked to about this has said they'd prefer to go home and leave this place behind. The only hesitance now is trying to find a way to make sure we can all still see each other. And I can't blame anyone for wanting that, too. Even if this place isn't involved.

We've all formed lasting bonds and connections.

I know I'd miss so many of you.

It was already bad enough to be separated here for so long. It's hard to imagine what it means when everyone goes wherever they're going to go after this. We've talked about how a few people have earned things for the suffering we've gone through, but when you think about it we've still gained something, too, didn't we?

[death is horrible but the real treasure were the friends made along the way, etc.]
