I think there are some others who could use a little pick-me-up, too...Aqua, Robin, Caelus, some of the younger kids. Something small.

Not sure yet. [she's been thinking on it, because...] I did ask Famine for some spices for the Refectory earlier this week. They said I'd get them at the beginning of next week. [so tomorrow.] It's not much, but just small adjustments to make things less miserable. That was before all of this though so...maybe it's silly.

[like she's still going to keep doing these things but people were murdered and people are hurting. she's not disillusioned into thinking better-seasoned food and candy is going to fix things.]

Maybe. But... maybe small, silly things are gonna help, too. That's why we took those breaks when we traveled, wasn't it?

[like yes it was because the girls wanted a break and wanted to explore the beach and go to the golden saucer and just take a little time to themselves, but it had worked out enough...ish. it was about the morale in the end. and those breaks still made them stronger.] Pestilence said the fog might also bring something different the longer we're here. Maybe something else will show up and we can use something from there. Some candy and maybe something else in people's mailboxes.

[she's sure everyone else got candy, too, but it's the principle of the matter. also, she hears that and she just IMMEDIATELY pouts at him. hey. hey!!!]

Probably. The candy's the same kind. It's not a bad thing, but I wonder if any of us got the same one.
