They did kind of volunteer for the job. But I guess they didn't think it'd be this messy. Especially now that they're down a number.

I'm still not entirely sure how long they've been here. From the sounds of it, all three of the ones remaining only joined to see if the cult could really succeed in summoning a god. Just for different reasons.

Oh. I thought maybe you talked to them and heard something different about it. But...they all have different reasons for wanting to see if it's possible, too. And from what I understand Death didn't have a specific god he believed in, but he had something he wanted.

I won't question it. As long as they're willing to help us now, we have to try and do the same in return. It's the only way this is going to work. [she seems sure of that.]
