[look it was worth the try...but she does stop when he points out hers, going still to let him touch it and look at it. something in her expression shifts from the mild agitation about sephiroth to something a little more resigned. solemn, maybe, because the word could mean multiple things. it does mean multiple things to her.]

What do you think they're for? [cloud already mentioned they appeared this morning, but she's a little uneasy with the idea these might be permanent.]

[ he doesn't touch it for too long, retracting his hand almost right away. he doesn't want to think about it having a deeper meaning, on either of their parts. though a little part of him is glad aerith sees it too and it's really there. ]

Probably! Maybe it's a trade-off for having these new powers. Something to exchange from gaining something? [that doesn't seem likely but they don't exactly have experience with this.]
