That's right. As long as you have the right materia for what you want to do, you can use them. All of our friends have different kinds, but we overlap sometimes with elemental spells. Most of mine are used for healing, protection and spells like fire, ice and lightning.

The appearance of a Phantom... a sort of monster made of soot. It attacked and harmed several people. My investigation uncovered the fact that someone created it and set it loose on purpose.

...I know it might not feel like it, but that isn't always a bad thing. You tried your best to make sure things would work out, didn't you? I'm sure they knew that and would want to know you were making yourself safer. You're not the only one to think that. After this and another incident that followed, the Star Bearers ended up resigning, and an election was held to elect a new leader among the children.
Probably for the best. If they can't actually do their job, then it isn't a job they're worthy of having.
