Depends on what they want from us, I think. [is she going to explain why she thinks this? no. but thank you.] With as little as it was, it could be something as simple as making sure we're here. If a box goes unclaimed and unopened that would give them information about what's happening here, wouldn't it?
It wouldn't exactly surprise me. If they took all of our gear and boxed them up to send to the swamp to begin with, they could've taken the time to mark them for themselves.
They could have. [the thing is that they really don't know for certain, and she's not going to pretend they do.] None of us know long we were asleep for, or what happened before we were left by the fire. But we are in one piece.
Yeah. All three of us have them on-hand, but looks like whoever brought us here took everything. I can still use my staff, but just for physical attacks.

[frowning, though.]
I wonder what they're doing with it.

[she looks thoughtful - it's a good point.]

[creepy.]

[so maybe it isn't that bad.]

[but she sounds unsettled nonetheless. after a moment:]
...Aerith, correct?

[she is extremely aware the fog turned people around, but just wondering how that went for her.]

If I had, I wouldn't be here any longer.

[...]
Something frivolous. I didn't need it to travel. It doesn't matter, anyways. The attempt failed.

...did you bother to keep it anyway? The item.
no subject
I kept it. [...] What did you get?
no subject
My staff. I had it with me before we got here, but some of the things that were with it are still missing.
no subject
What's normally with it?

[makes a face.]
I suppose that makes sense.

What do you think that is? We still haven't seen anyone yet.
