[well this has all been lovely so far, thank you, spooky town. once it's been made clear that their things were available via blood sacrifice to leeches aerith didn't waste any time changing into her regular clothes and redoing her braid just to get her hair out of her face.
nothing else about the town has changed though, and it means she's wandering to see how others fared throughout the night. and this is likely how she comes across vin. she remembers that the girl was a little more resistant to conversation, so she keeps a polite distance so she doesn't crowd her. that doesn't stop her from offering a smile though.]
[it's monday! and it means that aerith is once again out and about...you'd think maybe she'd get tired of wandering the same path in this small village, but no. we do not have much else to do, honestly, and so this is going to have to cut it. she has her hands folded behind her back as she walks, and it seems that this is covering some elegant sort of script on her arm that she's not really paying any mind to.
either way, when she crosses vin's path she offers her a little nod of greeting.]
[here on middle summer island, aerith can be found crouched in the dirt admiring these beautiful flowers? she seems to be observing them, and should vin be close enough she might hear the sounds of aerith talking to them.
that's weird, but okay! does she bother to approach and see why she's doing this, or does she go about minding her own business?]
[she's sitting in front of the church today, staring straight in the direction of the pyre and where the new posters are on the bulletin board. but even so, when she sees vin she pulls herself together to call out to her.]
Vin. [just her name to catch her attention and gauge her mood, mostly.]
[maybe vin is walking down the road from the new door. or maybe aerith is ahead and senses her presence behind her? who knows the true reason why aerith changes direction and moves to fall into step with her, easily walking beside her as the white figments flicker in and our along the sides of the abandoned stretch.]
Kind of depressing, isn't it? I already miss the sun. I wish we could go back even just one more time. [but she'll have to let that thought linger because soon vin is treated to a memory, lasting until 2:21:12.]
[at some point when the party winds down a little...she's still in the vineyard! sort of just glancing around at their set-up. she's still somewhat transparent on-sight but it doesn't look like she's going anywhere for a bit.]
Guess this came as a little bit of a surprise, huh?
[she's at barks & waffles at the moment, browsing a selection of books more to give herself something to do than to really read. but she glances over her shoulder, and when she sees vin she gives a little wave.]
Heya. Have you had much of a chance to look around yet? [she's pretty rattled from earlier, but let's just try to be normal for a sec.]
[at the new salon today, aerith seems to be browsing a selection of nail polish. was vin here just looking to see what this area was? was she passing through? you tell me.]
Guess now's as good a time as any to do some touch-ups if we really wanted to. [the mood is brief confusion though.]
